So big news… I have a storage unit to store my stock parts, so I'm lightly modding my car and changing my rims.
I got to drive a buddies Civic, and it had a short throw shifter in it. The difference was wild, but he had no idea what brand he had because it was put in by the previous owner.
To those guys with them on they're Teggy's out there: any brand recommendations?
How difficult would this be (My buddy said it's hard as hell, he kept referring to something called the "bitch pin"; but I've heard other people say it could be done in like 30 minutes), and is there anything else I'm going to need? (like bushings, bolts, etc)

The bitch pin is not bad I think most people complaining are undertooled or inexperienced, don’t hold me to that though.. mine was very easy with a simple punch and hammer.

This is my all time favorite shift lever. The throw isn’t near as short as other shift levers though if you really want it to be super tight. My buddies always ran really tight shifters and they felt cool to me a long time ago but in my personal opinion, I prefer closer to a stock throw
You won’t need to remove the bitch pin to install a shift lever. You can just disconnect the linkage from the other side where the shift lever is and then install it. You may need to drop part of the exhaust.
If you do ever need to remove the bitch pin, the bolt from honda ac brackets works well if you use that to pound it out with a hammer
Polyurethane bushings for the shift linkage will make it feel a lot crisper if you don’t already have those
Installing the stiffer detent springs into the transmission is super easy and also will make the shift feeling crisper
I would imagine a really short shift throw could make it easier to damage the synchros but there’s a lot of other factors with driving style
