Participants Needed for a Research Study on Facebook News Sharing Behavior for Doctoral Dissertation at The Chicago School
Are you 18 or older and have a Facebook account? Do you share news articles or news-related memes daily on Facebook?
Purpose: To explore how certain strategies can help people share more reliable news sources on Facebook.
Participants must be 18 years or older, have an active Facebook account, and:
- Post or share at least one news article or news-related meme daily on Facebook
- Are proficient in English
- Use Facebook regularly for receiving and posting news stories and have access to a computer or mobile device with internet connectivity to complete online training and assessments.
- Be willing to engage in the strategies and training provided by the study.
- Available to participate in the study activities over the designated 6-week period.
- Participation Involves:
- Completing a precommitment pledge and 6-week online
training with 1-2 sessions per week- 30-45 minutes per day
- Allowing the researcher to observe your Facebook posts by
“friending” a research account.
- The study will be conducted from your computer, phone, or tablet
