When do you think and feel is Google going to add more customization to the Messages app?
The app has potential, but it's pretty barebones and boring. It does the job, but that's about it.
Apps like Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, iMessage and even Viber are much more interactive, thanks to their features.
I am from Eastern Europe and Viber has some benefits. You can pay your monthly bills through it, message people and use it as a source for news at the same time.
Other apps have their benefits as well. When do you think that Google will start caring about its messaging platform? Just curious about your opinion.

The messages app is honestly really old. And there are flags mentioning “conversation screen 2″. I’m thinking Google might be in the process of rebuilding the app with newer code like kotlin maybe that’s much more flexible. That would hopefully allow the customization we all want. Plus would make the app quicker and more responsive”
