>The $3,200 stimulus check is part of Alaska’s Permanent Fund Dividend Program, designed to distribute the state’s oil and mineral revenue to residents.
>While the original proposed payment was $5,500, the final amount has been reduced to $3,200 due to budgetary concerns. This year’s payout includes a one-time energy relief payment to help with rising energy costs in Alaska.

Wishing, but thinking it’s a no.
Direct from the state: [“The amount of the 2024 PFD was calculated by utilizing the amount available for distribution from the Permanent Fund earnings account and dividing it by the number of eligible applicants. For the 2024 PFD, the Legislature allocated a total of $914,315,845 for distribution. The $1,702.00 amount includes the permanent fund dividend in the sum amount of $1,403.83, and a one-time energy relief payment of $298.17 added by the Legislature in 2023. Over 600,000 Alaskans have already been determined eligible for this year’s distribution.” ](https://dor.alaska.gov/department-of-revenue/news-detail/2024/09/19/department-of-revenue-announces-2024-permanent-fund-dividend-amount-and-energy-relief#:~:text=For%202024%20PFD%20applications%20that,disbursed%20on%20October%203%2C%202024.)
I wish though!
PFD is definitely only $1702.00 and if there is other money coming, it’s from elsewhere and not PFD.
