It’s time to crown a Wimbledon men’s champion. The 2024 final takes place on Sunday at the All England Club with some familiar faces battling it out on Centre Court. Carlos Alcaraz, the 2023 champion, and Novak Djokovic, a seven-time Wimbledon champion, will face off for this year’s crown. The two dueled over five grueling sets in the 2023 championship before Alcaraz prevailed to claim his second Grand Slam crown.
Alcaraz has faced some stiff tests on his way to this year’s final. The Spaniard has had to battle out of a first-set deficit twice — against Americans Frances Tiafoe in the third round and Tommy Paul in the quarterfinal — but has managed to rally with relative ease in each match.
Djokovic, meanwhile, has had a much lighter road. The Serbian has only had one match go beyond three sets and even got some extra rest before the semifinal when Alex de Minaur withdrew with injury ahead of their quarterfinal match. Djokovic will be looking to make more history as he looks to claim an astounding 25th Grand Slam title.
The 2024 Wimbledon men’s finals begin at 9 a.m. ET on ESPN. It’s also available to stream on fuboTV (try for free).
